Residential Interior Design

This program is based on (5) five, (7) seven-week sessions to provide the fundamentals of interior design. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in “Residential Interior Design” after completing the five sessions.
 
Session #1 –
Drafting techniques and space planning (Note: Drafting is an integral skill to interior design)
Learn the fundamentals of every design project /the skill of drafting!
Session #2 –
Color theory, materials, and sources. (One day field trip to to the Boston Design Center)
Session #3 – 
History of furniture and architecture as it pertains to interior design (One day field tripto the Museum of Fine Arts Boston)
Session #4 & #5 – 
A full scope conceptual design project to include design documentation/drafting to presentation.
